Conscensia sees a huge potential in the Norwegian and Swedish market. These markets have a high demand for talented software developers, just as in the rest of Western Europe. IKT Norway’s survey from 2017 showed that 38% of their members have had IT job vacancies, but were unable to find qualified candidates for the positions. Unfortunately, it resulted in 42% of the members having to reject orders/projects.
In order to help these businesses, Conscensia has expanded our Scandinavian sales team by hiring Vidar Øvrebø as Regional Sales Director on the Norweigan and Swedish market. Vidar’s primary task is to find new clients on these markets, as he has many years of experience within the IT and Marine & Offshore sector.
