How do you ensure the future growth of your company?

As other IT companies in Denmark, CDRator finds it increasingly hard to find new employees. However, well-qualified employees are a deciding factor for the company’s future growth potential.

”We have to acknowledge that we cannot get the resources we need here in Denmark. We have lots of leads coming in and our existing customers bring more work, but in today’s job market, we simply cannot find the number of employees we need, which is why we have chosen to look beyond the borders in order to ensure future growth,” said CEO and founder of CDRator, Jesper Philipp.

CDRator soon realized that the solution was nearsourcing and they chose to team up with Conscensia, a Danish company specialized in nearsourcing in Ukraine. Nearsourcing has many obvious advantages. Companies do not have to worry about time zones or cultural differences, as the development work is handled in countries that are geographically and culturally close to Denmark.

”Conscensia handles all the aspect that can pose problems for a Danish company establishing itself abroad. They have offered us a very flexible solution that we have been able to mould in accordance with our wishes and needs,” explained Jesper Philipp.

Through Conscensia’s nearsourcing concept, CDRator is well on their way to overcoming their major challenge with recruiting employees with the right qualifications. However, even though the costs in Ukraine are significantly lower than in Denmark, Jesper Philipp maintains that their motives are not financial:

”We might as well have set this up in Århus or Aalborg, but the right employees are not available there, either. For us, the motivation has been to find highly qualified employees, and nearsourcing is a strategic choice to obtain the right employees and ensure our future growth,” stated Jesper Philipp.
